At AUTO24 Rwanda, the 2024 Tesla Model Y Long Range is priced at $58,000 (RWF 74.1 million). It boasts an impressive 660 km (410 miles) range and accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.8 seconds, powered by its 78.1 kWh battery. These specs highlight why the Model Y stands out in its class.

Charging is quick and convenient, especially for the Elroq 85 and 85x models, which support DC fast-charging up to 175 kW. This means you can go from 10% to 80% charge in less than 28 minutes, reducing downtime and easing concerns about range.

The Elroq’s aerodynamic design (drag coefficient of 0.26) and a cargo capacity of 470–1,580 liters combine efficiency with practicality. Safety features include up to nine airbags and advanced driver assistance systems, offering added confidence for drivers on Rwanda’s roads.

4. Citroën e-C3

Citroën e-C3

The Citroën e-C3, introduced in February 2024, offers an affordable way to embrace electric driving in Rwanda, available through AUTO24. Priced at $24,500 (RWF 30,821,000), it’s an appealing option for drivers looking to reduce their environmental impact.

This model comes with a 44.0 kWh usable battery, providing a reliable range for daily use. In moderate weather, you can get up to 245 miles in the city or 146 miles on highways. In colder conditions, the range adjusts to about 162 miles in the city and 112 miles on highways.

The e-C3 is designed for practical performance, with a top speed of 84 mph and acceleration from 0 to 62 mph in 11.5 seconds – perfect for urban driving in Rwanda. It also offers a 310-liter cargo space, which expands to 1,200 liters when the rear seats are folded.

For longer trips, the 100 kW DC fast charger adds roughly 113 miles (182 km) of range in just 32 minutes, addressing concerns about charging during travel. With an average energy consumption of 169 Wh/km, the e-C3 combines efficiency with affordability, making it an excellent choice for those new to electric vehicles.

5. Jeep Avenger EV

The Jeep Avenger EV is the latest addition to AUTO24 Rwanda’s lineup, designed to handle both city roads and rugged trails with ease.

With 156 HP and 260 Nm of torque, this EV offers impressive performance. It provides a range of up to 373 miles in the city and 249 miles combined, and charging from 20% to 80% takes just 24 minutes.

Built for off-road adventures, it boasts 7.9 inches of ground clearance, a 20° approach angle, and a 32° departure angle. The Selec-Terrain® system allows you to adjust settings for different surfaces, while Hill Descent Control ensures stability on steep slopes.

Practical features include 360º body protection and a spacious trunk measuring 1 meter wide, offering 380 liters (13.4 cubic feet) of storage. These make it a versatile choice for various needs in Rwanda’s EV market.

The vehicle’s energy consumption ranges between 15.4–16.0 kWh per 100 km, and its advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) enhance safety for both daily drives and weekend getaways.
